Professional Technical Ltd is seeking a Forklift Field Engineer to join the team covering the TF and ST postcode areas in the UK. You will maintain, service and repair a range of material handling equipment at customer sites, from pallet trucks to IC and automated trucks, while keeping accurate paperwork up to date.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and repair material handling equipment on customer sites.
• Diagnose faults and undertake preventative maintenance across pallets, IC, VNA and automated trucks.
• Manage paperwork and keep systems up to date.
• Attend regular training to stay current with equipment and processes.

Responsibilities of the Forklift Field Engineer

Reporting to the Service Team Leader you will be in control of the maintenance, service, and repairs of material handling equipment on various customer sites within your postcode areas. You will be working with an assortment of equipment including electric trucks. Managing your own work in progress, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately, attend regular training courses to maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment, and be an active team player sustaining the company's prestigious reputation. You will be working with everything from small pallet trucks, through to IC trucks, VNA trucks, and automated trucks, you will be required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment at their customer sites.

Requirements of the Forklift Field Engineer

• NVQ Level 3 qualification is essential - Certificates will be required
• Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician or Roadside Recovery all considered.
• Technical experience in Engines, Electrics (Diagnostics) and/or hydraulics.
• IT Literate and be comfortable with using the latest technology
