Job summary

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and MHE across a local customer base. The role involves visiting customer sites within a 50-mile radius and working to a structured servicing schedule.

The ideal candidate has mechanical service and maintenance experience, with forklift/MHE knowledge preferred and basic electrical fault-finding skills. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical service and maintenance.
• Forklift or materials handling knowledge is desirable.
• Strong mechanical background with potential to grow in MHE.
• Basic electrical fault-finding knowledge beneficial.
• Must have a Full UK driving licence.

Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 DOE + Company Vehicle + Overtime + Pension

A growing materials handling business is looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join its team. This is a field-based role servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment across a local customer base.

The Role

Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and MHE. Diagnose and fault-find mechanical and basic electrical issues. Attend customer sites within approximately a 50-mile radius. Work to a planned schedule of servicing and maintenance. Complete service reports and manage van stock accurately. Follow all Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices.

Requirements

• Previous mechanical engineering/service & maintenance experience.
• Forklift or materials handling experience is desirable.
• Engineers from a strong mechanical background looking to develop within MHE will also be considered.
• Basic electrical fault-finding knowledge is beneficial.
• Full UK driving licence.

Package

• £34,000 - £38,000 salary DOE
• Core working hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
