Job summary

Pitreavie Group in Glenrothes is seeking a Forklift Driver/Stores Person to join our warehouse team. The role involves handling deliveries, maintaining stock records and operating forklift trucks safely.

Based in Glenrothes, the position is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:00. The ideal candidate will have counterbalance and flexi-truck certificates, strong teamwork, and a proactive approach to stock control.

Qualifications

• Counterbalance and flexi-truck experience and certificates are essential
• Previous experience working within a warehouse environment
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Working to a delivery schedule
• Pick/pack a range of products for dispatch
• Booking in/out stock
• Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently in compliance with company policies
• Load and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks and vans, manually or with forklifts
• Ensure goods are stored in the correct areas of the warehouse and can be located easily
• Keep accurate records of inventory and stock movements
• Perform regular checks on forklift trucks and other equipment to ensure they are in good working order
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse and follow health and safety guidelines

An exciting opportunity for a Forklift driver / Stores Person has arisen for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join the team based in Glenrothes.

Key responsibilities:

• Working to a delivery schedule
• Pick/ pack a range of products for dispatch
• Booking in/out stock
• Work as part of the team from order confirmation through to dispatch
• Operate forklift trucks and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Load and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks and vans, either manually or with the use of forklifts or other equipment
• Ensure goods are stored in the correct areas of the warehouse so that they can be easily located when needed
• Keep accurate records of inventory and stock movements.
• Perform regular checks on forklift trucks and other equipment to ensure they are in good working order
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse environment.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others
