Job summary

Job Talent in Dunstable is seeking a Forklift Driver (PM) to join a fast-paced retail distribution warehouse. You will operate FLT Reach trucks, perform picking and packing, and ensure safe handling of pallets.

This ongoing role offers training, a professional environment, and the chance to develop skills in a busy warehouse. Shifts are any 5 out of 7 days, with hourly pay of 15.87 GBP.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months forklift driving experience.
• Experience with reach trucks and load/unload safely.
• Good level of English.

Responsibilities

• Operate FLT Reach trucks to move stock.
• Pick and pack duties in a busy warehouse.
• Ensure safe load handling and pallet stacking.
• Conduct regular pre-use machinery checks.
• Assist in various warehouse departments as required.

Requirements for Forklift Driver PM

• 6-12 months of forklift driving experience
• Experience with reach trucks
• Ability to load and unload goods safely
• Competence in pallet handling and stacking
• Knowledge of pedestrian safety and hazard identification
• Ability to complete pre-use machinery checks
• Good level of English

Desirable Skills for Forklift Driver PM

• Additional forklift licenses
• Training in manual handling and working at height
• Previous experience in the retail industry
• Ability to meet or exceed KPIs
• Capacity to work well under pressure
• Willingness to support picking and other departments
