Job summary

Aligra Personnel Ltd in Basingstoke is seeking an experienced forklift driver for night shifts. You will operate a counterbalance forklift to load, unload and move metal stock, with reliable hours and opportunities to progress.

This role offers a safety-focused environment, PPE provided, and chances for development. Training will be on a day shift for 1–2 weeks to get you up to speed.

Qualifications

• Valid counterbalance forklift licence with warehouse experience.
• Strong knowledge of night-work safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual with good communication.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a counterbalance forklift to load, unload and move metal stock efficiently.
• Perform general warehouse duties including stock picking, packing and organising inventory.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, wearing required PPE at all times.
• Maintain a clean, organised warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth night shift operations.
• Report any equipment faults or hazards promptly.

Pay & Shift

• £14.90 per hour (£31,000 per annum)
• Sunday to Thursday
• 22:00pm to 07:00am

Training will be on a Day Shift for approximately 1 to 2 weeks.
