Job summary

Premier Recruitment Group in Kent is recruiting a Day Shift Forklift Driver for a well-established client in Aylesford. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm role with a 4 on/4 off shift pattern from 7am to 7pm and an hourly rate of £15.27.

Overtime is available and you will be loading materials and ensuring safety policies are followed. You will be responsible for loading material, equipment checks, routine maintenance if qualified, and maintaining tidy work areas while complying with PPE

Qualifications

• Experience in material loading and correct lifting procedures.
• Willingness to promote health & safety policies.
• Able to work 7am–7pm shift, 4 on 4 off.

Responsibilities

• Load material as instructed within company department.
• Promote and follow health and safety policies.
• Sort material and load into processing systems as directed.
• Check equipment before use and perform basic maintenance if qualified.
• Keep product bays tidy and organized.

The shift pattern is 4 on and 4 off form 7am to 7pm.

£15.27 per hour.

• To abide by & promote health & safety, ensuring all approved policies & processes are followed.
• To follow instructions regarding the sorting of material
• To load material in to the processing systems
• To keep product bays in order
• To ensure all checks are completed on equipment before use
• To carry out maintenance when required (if qualified)
• To ensure all required PPE is worn at all times
• To help with maintenance as directed
• To ensure the work area is kept tidy
