Job summary

Ambitions Personnel is recruiting a Forklift Driver to operate Counterbalance and/or Flexi forklifts in Tuxford. The role is temporary-to-permanent, with hours Monday to Friday, 9:00am–6:00pm and a £13.91 per hour pay rate.

You will load/unload goods, move stock, perform safety checks and support daily warehouse operations in a busy environment. A valid forklift licence is required; experience with Counterbalance and Flexi is preferred for a long-term opportunity.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Counterbalance and/or Flexi forklifts.
• Valid forklift licence/certificate.
• Warehouse or distribution experience.

• Safely operating Counterbalance and Flexi forklifts.
• Loading and unloading deliveries and vehicles.
• Moving, handling and storing stock safely and efficiently.
• Preparing goods and materials for dispatch.
• Carrying out routine forklift safety checks.
• Ensuring stock is stored correctly and the warehouse remains organised.
• Following all company health and safety procedures.
• Supporting general warehouse duties when required.
• Working effectively as part of a team to meet daily operational requirements.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver with Counterbalance and/or Flexi experience to join our clients growing business based in Tuxford on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operating Counterbalance and Flexi forklifts.
• Loading and unloading deliveries and vehicles.
• Moving, handling and storing stock safely and efficiently.
• Preparing goods and materials for dispatch.

About You

The successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience operating Counterbalance and/or Flexi forklifts.
• Hold a valid forklift licence/certificate.
• Have previous warehouse or distribution experience.
• Be reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Have a strong understanding of health and safety.
• Be comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment.
• Have a positive attitude and be willing to support the wider team.
• Be looking for a long-term permanent opportunity.
• Have good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
