Job summary

Randstad Group is seeking a Counterbalance Forklift Driver with double handler experience to operate PIT equipment, load/unload goods, and support warehouse operations in Wakefield. The role requires a minimum of 6 months’ FLT counterbalance experience and an in-date license, with flexibility for shifts and adherence to safety standards.

The position offers a structured shift pattern (3 on 3 off) and on-site duties, including inventory control and daily targets.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months experience as a FLT counterbalance driver.
Mandatory double handler experience (loading/unloading).
Adhere to Site SOPs.
Physically demanding role; standing for long periods.
Value health & safety and demonstrate responsible attitude.
Able to manage time to meet daily targets.

Responsibilities

Operate powered industrial trucks to load/unload materials and move them to storage.
Move pallets and stock using double pallet/load handlers.
Locate and move pallets for client deliveries and load trucks.
Maintain safety and housekeeping standards at all times.
Report damages to stock or vehicles and maintain records.
Move finished goods around warehouse; assist in maintaining inventory control.
