Job summary

Streamline Services Consultancy Limited is recruiting experienced FLT Counterbalance Drivers for a busy timber operation in Tilbury. You will safely move, load and unload timber products, ensuring accurate handling and smooth yard operations.

Key duties include forklift operation, loading/unloading timber, stacking stock, and supporting yard activities while adhering to health and safety rules. Shifts run 07:00-16:00 or 09:00-18:00 in Tilbury.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence required.
• Experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a yard/warehouse setting preferred.
• Experience handling timber is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload timber and other materials.
• Move and stack stock within the yard and warehouse.
• Support general yard operations and follow health and safety procedures.

The successful candidates will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving, loading and unloading timber products, ensuring goods are handled correctly and the yard operates smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
• Loading and unloading timber and other materials.
• Moving and stacking stock within the yard and warehouse.
• Supporting general yard operations as required.
• Following all health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• A valid FLT Counterbalance licence.
• Previous counterbalance forklift experience.
• Experience handling timber is desirable.
• A strong focus on safety and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.

What We Offer

• £13.50 per hour.
• shifts: 07:00-16:00 or 09:00-18:00.
• Work based in Tilbury.
