Pertemps North Midlands in Tamworth is recruiting a Forklift Driver for a full-time, temp-to-perm role. The position is based in a family-owned manufacturing environment with day shifts.

The successful candidate will operate a forklift and manage goods across an 8,000 sq ft warehouse. Typical duties include picking around 200 items per day, booking stock in and put-away, moving stock between production and storage, conducting stock checks, re-boxing smaller orders, and unloading deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid external forklift licence (Reach and Counterbalance).
• Full, clean UK driving licence to operate the company van.
• Experience in a fast-moving warehouse environment.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Trustworthy and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Calm under pressure with a proactive approach.

Duties include order picking around 200 items daily across an 8,000 sq ft warehouse, booking stock in and putting away, transporting goods between production and storage areas, stock taking, re-boxing smaller orders, and unloading deliveries. Candidates must follow written safety procedures and standard operating practices independently. A calm, proactive approach and proven forklift skills are essential for this productive warehouse team role.

What's on Offer

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
• £14.00 per hour with annual salary reviews
