The Best Connection are recruiting a Forklift Driver for a busy distribution centre in Millbrook, Southampton. You will operate a forklift and PPT, load and unload, pick and pack, and help with goods in and out while following health and safety procedures.

The role runs on a two-week rotating shift pattern, with early 06:00-14:00 and late 14:00-22:00 shifts. Immediate start and potential permanent after 12 weeks are possible.

Qualificações

• Valid Counterbalance licence.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Physically fit for manual handling duties.
• Able to work well in a team and also independently.

Responsabilidades

• Operate forklift to move pallets of stock.
• Operate PPT and load/unload containers and trailers.
• Pick and pack orders and build/wrap pallets.
• Assist with goods in and out processes.

The Best Connection are seeking to recruit Forklift Drivers to work for our clients busy distribution centre in Millbrook, Southampton.

Duties to include but not limited to:

• Working within a warehouse
• Operating a Forklift truck to move pallets of stock
• Operating a PPT
• Loading and unloading containers and trailers
• Picking and packing
• Building and wrapping pallets
• Assisting with goods in and out processes
• Following all health and safety procedures

Job requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance licence
• Good numeracy, literary and communication skills
• Previous warehouse experience
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties
• Ability to work well in a team as well as independently

Pay rate of £13.43 per hour, weekly pay.

This is for an immediate start, and an ongoing, full-time position. There is a possibility that the company will offer a permanent contract after a 12-week qualifying period, depending on performance and attendance.

This is to work on a two-week rotating shift pattern. You will do two weeks on the early shift, then two weeks on the late shift, and keep rotating on that basis.

The hours for the early shift are Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 14:00.

The hours for the late shift are Monday to Friday, 14:00 - 22:00.
