Job summary

A recruitment agency in Hounslow is seeking Forklift Drivers for an international cargo warehouse at Heathrow Airport. You will operate counterbalanced forklifts, handle and process cargo, and work flexible shifts. Candidates must have a valid forklift license and be prepared for a UK criminal check. Qualifications

• Must have a Full Valid Forklift Licence (counterbalance).
• Ability to provide last 5 years history for background checks.
• Must pass a UK criminal check.

Overview

Class 1 Personnel are currently recruiting forklift drivers to join a busy international cargo warehouse at Heathrow Airport.

Responsibilities

• Operate counterbalanced forklifts to load/unload vehicles and move cargo safely.
• Candidates will be expected to use hand-held devices to locate and identify cargo.
• Process paperwork in accordance with our client's requirements.
• Handling special cargo products
• Building and breaking pallets
• Manual handling
• Preparing and palletizing cargo as needed
• To make a success of this role, you must have previous experience of working in a busy modern warehouse
• Our warehouse operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you will also need to be prepared to work shift patterns.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Full Valid Forklift Licence (counterbalance)
• Be able to provide your last 5 years history
• Be prepared to undergo a UK criminal Check
• The candidate must be flexible with shift work, including nights
• UK right to work
• Proof of National Insurance

Shifts

Shifts: Please note the warehouse operates 24hrs a day 7 days a week. Candidates must be flexible to work both days and nights.
