Job summary

Prime Appointments Ltd is recruiting a Forklift Driver for a well-established business in Leiston. You will operate a Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently, process goods inwards and outwards, and assist with stock control in a busy warehouse.

This permanent role follows a 3-month temporary trial period. Immediate start available with enhanced overtime rates, income protection, and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays after probation. A valid UK Counterbalance FLT/ C1 licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance forklift FLT and C1 licence
• Full UK C1 driving licence
• Warehouse or stores experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Reliable and proactive approach to work

Responsibilities

• Operate Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently
• Process goods inwards and outwards
• Picking and packing parts accurately
• Maintain stock accuracy and inventory records
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Transporting materials throughout the warehouse and site
• Collecting parts and materials from local suppliers using company vehicles
• Conducting regular stock checks and supporting stores operations
