Job summary

Crem Recruitment is supporting an established client in Haverhill to recruit FLT Counter-Balance Drivers who are dedicated to the highest standards of food production and safety. You will operate a counterbalance forklift safely, move and organise stock in a chilled warehouse, and support daily reviews. Hours are Monday to Friday, 07:00–17:00, at £13.75 per hour. This is a full-time, temporary-to-perm role with a strong emphasis on hygiene and quality control.

Qualifications

• Valid FLT licence is required.
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Able to work in a chilled environment and with raw ingredients.

Responsibilities

• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and follow company policies.
• Move and organise stock within the warehouse.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE at all times.
• Maintain hygiene standards – clean as you go.
• Meet health, safety and KPI targets.
• Attend daily reviews and participate in performance reviews.
• Flexible working patterns.

Our established client based in Haverhill is currently looking for FLT Counter-Balance Drivers who are passionate about delivering the highest standards of food production, ensuring all health and food safety measures are followed. You will be a crucial part of the company's growth.

Hours of work are

Monday to Friday: 07:00am to 17:00pm.

Salary

£13.75 per hour.

Duties include

• Work in a safe way following all appropriate safety procedures and wearing protective equipment correctly at all times
• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and in line with company policies and health & safety regulations.
• Move, stack, and organise stock within the warehouse.
• Other general tasks waste processing, order packing etc
• Work to relevant standards and Key Performance Indicators
• Occasional attendance and contribution at the daily review meeting and regular attendance/contribution at online performance reviews
• Flexible working patterns
• General facility hygiene - floors, walls and conveyors etc. and working in a manner that epitomises 'clean as you go'

Personal Specification

• Previous relevant experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable working in a chilled working environment
• Happy working with raw ingredients including meat.
