Job summary

Nub News in Coalville is seeking an experienced Counterbalance FLT Operator to join a well‑established manufacturing site. You will handle materials, load/unload goods, and keep a clean, safe warehouse environment.

Role requires a valid FLT licence, prior forklift experience, and a safety-focused, reliable approach. Rotating morning/afternoon shifts and a temporary to permanent contract are available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Forklift Truck Operator (Counterbalance)

Shift Pattern: Rotating shifts - mornings and afternoons

A well-established manufacturing business based in Coalville is looking for an experienced Counterbalance FLT Operator to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous FLT experience who is comfortable working in a busy warehouse or manufacturing environment and takes pride in working safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operating a counterbalance forklift to move materials throughout the site
• Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing goods accurately and efficiently
• Moving, organising and storing stock in accordance with site procedures
• Completing daily forklift and equipment checks and reporting any faults or issues
• Working in line with all company health and safety procedures
• Supporting wider warehouse duties when required
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised working environment

Requirements

• Valid Category B1 or B2 FLT licence - essential
• Previous forklift experience within a warehouse, manufacturing or similar environment
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety procedures
