Job summary

Pertemps Gloucester is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver for an immediate start in Cheltenham. The role requires Counterbalance and Reach Truck licences and involves unloading lorries in a busy warehouse environment, moving stock around the site, and supporting the team.

Typical hours are Monday to Friday 06:00–13:00 with pay of £13.75–£14.00 per hour. The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a team.

Qualifications

• Hold valid Counterbalance licence and Reach Truck licence.
• Experience unloading lorries in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Warehouse experience and reliability.
• Available to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Operate both Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Trucks.
• Unload lorries and incoming deliveries.
• Move stock safely throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload products as required.
• Support the warehouse team with general warehouse duties.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
• Follow all Health & Safety procedures at all times.

Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of a busy warehouse operation looking for an experienced Forklift Driver to join their team. This role would suit reliable and hardworking candidates who hold both Counterbalance and Reach Truck licences and are confident unloading lorries in a fast paced warehouse environment.

The Role

As a Forklift Driver, you will play a key role in the warehouse operation, ensuring deliveries are unloaded safely and efficiently while supporting the wider warehouse team.

Your Duties Will Include:

• Operating both Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Trucks.
• Unloading lorries and incoming deliveries.
• Moving stock safely throughout the warehouse.
• Loading and unloading products as required.
• Supporting the warehouse team with general warehouse duties.
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping standards.
• Following all Health & Safety procedures at all times.

We're looking for candidates who:

• Hold valid Counterbalance and Reach Truck licences.
• Have previous experience unloading lorries and operating FLT equipment.
• Have warehouse experience.
• Are reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Can work effectively as part of a team.
• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Are available immediately.

Pay Rate

• £13.75 - £14.00 per hour
• Higher rates may be considered for particularly experienced candidates.
