Job Title: FLT Counterbalance Driver

Location: Middlesbrough

Company: Stafforce Recruitment

Stafforce is recruiting experienced FLT Counterbalance Drivers for roles based in Middlesbrough, including ports environments. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, safety awareness, and flexibility to work in dynamic settings. Previous experience in similar environments is advantageous but not essential for the right candidate with the relevant FLT experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate FLT Counterbalance trucks safely and effectively
• Follow safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping
• Follow loading lists accurately and efficiently
• Support operational tasks as directed by supervisors

Requirements:

• Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence
• Experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential)
• Strong focus on health and safety
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
• Experience in ports or logistics is desirable

Pay Rates:

• Up to 8 hours: £13.45/hr
• After 8 hours and Saturdays: £20.18/hr
• Sundays and Bank Holidays: £26.90/hr
