Forklift Driver

Our Basingstoke-based client, specialising in chemical production, is looking for a Forklift Driver to join their team on a permanent basis.

Salary & Hours:

• £27,000 per annum
• £2,000 per annum shift allowance
• Week 1: 1pm-9pm Mon-Thu, 12pm-7pm Fri
• Week 2: 6am-2pm Mon-Thu, 6am-1pm Fri
• Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

• Safely handle hazardous chemicals
• Move chemicals across the factory using FLT
• Operate chemical plant equipment
• Carry out chemical reactions and processes
• Record quantities used throughout the process
• Perform simple analytical tests
• Pack chemicals
• Clean plant equipment and general areas in the factory
• Perform simple day-to-day maintenance of chemical plant

Skills & Experience:

• Production experience
• FLT License

• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg

Previous experience working within a factory environment is desired.
