Forklift Driver

• Annual Salary: £27,200
• Location: RG7
• Job Type: Full-time

Join a leading UK distributor as a Forklift Driver. This family-run business is looking to expand its team. The role is ideal for an experienced driver familiar with Bendi trucks, Combi lifts, or Side loader Forklifts. Due to the location, a local driver is preferred.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Operate Bendi trucks, Combi lifts, or Side loader Forklifts to move and manage inventory within the warehouse.
• Ensure safe handling and transportation of goods to prevent damage.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to efficiently manage the storage and dispatch of goods.
• Load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring that items are secured properly.
• Keep accurate records of inventory movements and report any discrepancies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience operating Bendi trucks, Combi lifts, or Side loader Forklifts.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical condition and stamina to handle heavy lifting.
• Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude.
• Local to the RG7 area or willing to relocate.
