Job summary
phs in South Kirkby is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves assisting with our Washrooms, Healthcare and Floorcare divisions, maintaining paperwork, preparing stock for drivers, and ensuring stock areas are clean and well organized.
The ideal candidate may hold a Counterbalance Forklift Licence or be willing to undergo FLT training. You will work Monday to Friday with no scheduled weekends, and the package includes hourly pay of
Qualifications
- Manual handling capability to lift large stock daily.
- Forklift licence preferred or willingness to train for FLT.
- Good health and safety awareness and practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working area.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the relevant paperwork and records.
- Prepare stock for drivers and route checks.
- Keep stock areas clean and tidy at all times.
- Carry out stock takes as requested.
- Perform tasks as directed by the Operations Manager.
- Liaise with staff to foster good working relationships.
- Comply with current health and safety legislation and procedures.
