The Best Connection is seeking a reliable Warehouse & Yard Operative to support our warehouse and yard operations. You will handle stock, operate a forklift, and assist with loading and unloading vehicles while maintaining safety and accuracy.

Ideal candidates hold a forklift licence, have good attention to detail and communication skills, and can work well in a team. The role offers a structured shift pattern, potential for permanent placement, and benefits such as weekly pay and pension

Responsibilities

• Receive, pick, prepare, load and store stock safely and accurately.
• Maintain stock accuracy and complete stock checks.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Provide excellent service to customers collecting or returning goods.
• Keep the warehouse and yard clean, organised and safe.
• Carry out forklift and equipment checks and report any issues.
• Follow all company, Health & Safety and compliance procedures.
• Support the wider branch team as required.
