Job summary

Vanta Staffing is recruiting experienced Forklift Drivers for a fast-paced logistics site in Slough. The role covers counterbalance and reach trucks, loading and unloading, stock handling and general warehouse duties in a busy environment.

You must hold valid Counterbalance and Reach licences, be physically fit and able to work rotating day and night 12-hour shifts. This temporary role offers long-term permanency for successful candidates with PAYE pay at £14.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence required.
• Valid Reach forklift licence required.
• Previous forklift and warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating counterbalance and reach forklift trucks.

Forklift Driver - Counterbalance & Reach

Location: Slough
Pay Rate: £14.75 per hour PAYE
Shift Pattern: 3 Days On, 3 Days Off - Rotating Days & Nights
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Vanta Staffing is currently recruiting experienced Forklift Drivers for our established logistics client based in Slough.

The role involves operating both counterbalance and reach forklifts alongside general warehouse duties in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely operating counterbalance and reach forklift trucks.

• Loading, unloading and moving stock throughout the warehouse.

• Replenishing stock and ensuring production lines are kept supplied.

• Building and preparing pallets for storage and dispatch.

• Using pump trucks and manual pallet trucks when required.

• Supporting general warehouse operations.

• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance and Reach Forklift licences - both essential.

• Previous forklift and warehouse experience.

• Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.

• Must be physically fit and prepared to walk approximately 20,000-25,000 steps per shift.

• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts.

• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.

• Own safety boots and high-visibility clothing.

Working Hours

3 Days On, 3 Days Off - 12-Hour Shifts

• Day Shift: 07:00 - 19:00

• Night Shift: 19:00 - 07:00

• Rotating shift pattern covering both days and nights.
