Job summary

The Best Connection is recruiting experienced FLT Reach & Counterbalance Drivers for a Meadowhall area site in Sheffield. This temporary-to-permanent role offers reliable employment with weekly pay through The Best Connection.

Shifts include 6:00am-2:00pm or 2:00pm-10:00pm, with pay rates of £14.35 per hour on day or 10% shift allowance on the afternoon shift. RTITB licences and prior FLT experience are required.

Qualifications

• Valid RTITB Reach Truck and Counterbalance licences.
• Previous experience operating both Reach and Counterbalance FLTs.
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety practices.
• Checkable work references.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Counterbalance forklift to unload lorries.
• Use a Reach Truck to move and store stock.
• Pick and handle heavy items with Reach Truck.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.

FLT Reach & Counterbalance Driver - Sheffield (Meadowhall Area)

The Best Connection is currently recruiting experienced FLT Reach & Counterbalance Drivers for one of our well-established clients based in the Meadowhall area of Sheffield.

This is an excellent temporary-to-permanent opportunity for reliable and motivated candidates looking to secure long-term employment with a growing business.

Duties Will Include:

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck to unload lorries safely and efficiently.


• Using a Reach Truck to move and store stock in designated warehouse locations.


• Picking and handling heavy items using a Reach Truck.


• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.


• Following all company health and safety procedures at all times.

Working Hours:

Choose from one of the following shifts:

• Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm


• Monday to Friday, 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Pay Rates:

• Day Shift: £14.35 per hour


• Afternoon Shift: £14.35 per hour + 10% shift allowance

Requirements:

• Valid RTITB Reach Truck and Counterbalance licences.


• Previous experience operating both Reach and Counterbalance FLTs.
