Job summary

Taylor Wimpey plc is seeking a qualified Forklift Driver to join our on-site teams. You will safely unload and distribute materials, support the site team with security and cleanliness, and ensure waste is segregated and managed properly.

Applicants must hold CPCS rough terrain telehandler certification and a full UK driving licence, with a strong commitment to health and safety, and prior telescopic handler experience.

Qualifications

• Hold appropriate certification/license (CPCS rough terrain telehandler and full UK manual driving licence).
• Basic knowledge of building materials.
• A strong appreciate and commitment to Health and Safety
• Experience of operating telescopic handlers.

Responsibilities

• Undertake the safe unloading and distribution of materials.
• Assist the site team in relation to site security, cleanliness and segregation of waste.
• Checking of material quantities.
• Stack materials into designated areas/compound/containers.
• Ensure all pallets are returned to suppliers in a timely manner.
• Assist the Site Manager in preparing specific risk assessments for material handling, lifting operation and traffic management.
• Complete daily checks on forklift, complete the necessary report forms, and arrange rectification of any defects or damage.

Job Summary
