Job summary

Taylor Wimpey plc is hiring a Site Operative to manage day-to-day housekeeping on site and support the site team across various trades. You will help maintain welfare facilities, assist with deliveries, signage, and presentation, and aid NHBC inspection readiness.

The role requires CSCS, a full driving licence, teamwork, and the ability to travel between sites. A safety-minded approach is essential.

Qualifications

  • CSCS Card required.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Must be able to travel to various sites across the region.
  • Full Clean Driving Licence.
  • Awareness of safety issues.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and maintain site welfare.
  • Ensure materials are stored correctly.
  • Supervise unloading of deliveries.
  • Maintain safe access and egress to welfare facilities.
  • Develop pedestrian walkways across the development.
  • Erect and maintain signage and site presentation.
  • Support plots readiness for NHBC inspections.
  • Open/close site and plots at start/end of day.
  • General housekeeping.
  • Provide assistance to the site team and trades.
  • Keep walkways clear / traffic management.

Job Summary

The Site Operative is responsible for the day to day housekeeping of site and will give assistance to the site team as required.

Primary Responsibilities
Daily Duties
  • Cleaning and maintaining site welfare
  • Ensure that are materials are put away and stored correctly
  • Supervise the unloading of delivery’s
  • Maintain safe access and egress to the welfare facilities.
  • Maintain and develop pedestrian walkways throughout the development
  • Erect and maintain that all signage is in place and up to date
  • Maintain site presentation.
  • Maintain sales presentation.
  • Ensure that a clean and safe place of work is maintained inside the plots at all times
  • Supporting getting plots ready for NHBC Inspections
  • Maintain protection of 2nd fix items.
  • Opening and locking up site and plots at the start and end of the working day.
  • General Housekeeping.
Teamwork
  • Provide assistance to the site team and specialised trades
Health and Safety
  • Keep walkways clear / traffic management
Experience, Qualifications, Technical Requirements
  • CSCS Card
  • The ability to work as part of a team and other trades people.
  • The ability to travel to various sites across the region
