Job summary

Grandir UK Limited is recruiting a Nursery Assistant for Ruddington Day Nursery in Nottingham. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with flexibility over 4 or 5 days, and pays £12.71 per hour. You will support staff, promote EYFS standards, and help children thrive in a safe, caring environment.

Responsibilities

• Promote high standards of quality within the nursery
• Support and supervise playroom staff with their day-to-day duties
• Deploy staff appropriately to ensure that the required standards are delivered and maintained within the rooms
• Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery keycarer procedures and allocate children to keycarers appropriately
• Ensure that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Provide professional, relevant feedback to parents/carers about their child
• Promote the nursery to current parents and potential customers
• Develop open and positive working relationships with staff
• Ensure that all staff develop and maintain friendly, professional relationships with parents and carers
