Job summary

Flexzo Teach connects Forest School Leaders with local schools for short term, long term and permanent roles. Register to join the local talent pool in Elsworth, with direct booking requests from educational settings.

Leaders should hold QTS or equivalent, DBS and Forest School Leader Level 3 qualifications, plus 2–5 years of leadership experience and a strong focus on outdoor safety and SEMH/SEND needs.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated compassion, creativity, vigilance and resilience for outdoor learning environments.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent required.
• Forest School Leader Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• DBS clearance or willingness to obtain.
• 2–5 years of forest school leadership experience.
• Experience with SEMH/SEND needs and outdoor safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned learning in forest school settings.
• Work across key stages and settings based on experience and preferences.
• Maintain high health and safety standards in outdoor environments.
• Engage with schools to accept direct booking requests and interviews.

What you need

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
