Job summary

Cherubs Nurseries is seeking a Qualified Early Years Educator to join our team in the United Kingdom. You will help deliver high-quality care and education, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for children in our nurseries.

You'll participate in training, support EYFS delivery, and work closely with families and colleagues to nurture young minds while upholding our community-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Qualified Early Years Educator required.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom, a DBS and two satisfactory references required.
• Some roles may require 5 years of employment history.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the Childcare Team to provide an amazing service for children and families.
• Ensure the environment and nursery are safe, secure and clean, following safeguarding policies.
• Be a role model for the children and demonstrate best practice to colleagues.
• Give parents a warm welcome and provide a concise handover at day end.
• Complete Nursery In A Box for all key children with detailed, EYFS-based records.
• Keep your room tidy with organised resources and engaging displays.
• Attend in-house and external training, including some weekend sessions.
• Plan and deliver a variety of indoor/outdoor activities to support development.
• Attend staff events, including parents evenings, meetings and fairs.
