Experience in reporting cases involving Blood Pattern Analysis (BPA) and experience of crime scene examination are desirable but not essential. As a Forensic Reporting Scientist (Chemistry), you must have extensive experience of reporting complex cases, involving one or more chemistry evidence types (e.g. footwear marks, toolmarks, glass, paint, corrosive substances, accelerants, etc).

Duties will include:

Previous experience of training/mentoring more junior staff would also be beneficial for this role, as there will be an expectation that you actively engage in the continuous scientific development of the team.

You will be educated to BSc. Degree in a relevant scientific subject.
