Job description

Job Title: HCPC Registered Forensic Psychologist (Locum)

• HCPC registration (Clinical, Forensic, or Counselling Psychologist)
• Post Graduate Doctorate in Clinical, Forensic, or Counselling Psychology
• Prison Clearance (Desirable but not essential)
• Right to work in the UK with a minimum of 1 year NHS experience

Pertemps Psychological Therapies is seeking an experienced HCPC registered Forensic Psychologist to provide locum support for our client in Lancashire. The successful candidate will work part-time in an HMP service supporting the IMHT team, conducting psychological assessments, and delivering interventions for complex cases.

This role offers an immediate start, with the preferred availability of 2.5 days per week; however, we will consider varying availability.

Compliance Requirements:

To start work, you will need to provide documentation including:

1. DBS check
2. Occupational Health Clearance (proof of immunity to Hep B, Measles, and Rubella)
3. Right to work documentation – Passport/Visa
4. Mandatory Training Certificates
