Job summary

South West London & St George’s Mental Health NHS Trust is seeking a substantive Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Forensic Intellectual and Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (FIND) Community Team in the Springfield site. The role involves medical leadership, community treatment, and care coordination for adults with Learning Disability and/or Autism with co-morbid mental illness and offending behaviours.

The post is part-time (5 PAs for FIND with an additional 1 PA for AAIST) and offers CPD

Responsibilities

• Lead the FIND Community Team in community treatment and care coordination
• Provide medical leadership for day-to-day clinical care, risk assessment, and rehabilitation in the community
• Oversee treatment and supervision of restricted cases under Section 42 of the Mental Health Act 1983
