Job summary

Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to join the Francis Willis Unit's Therapies Team in a development post.

We offer a supportive, recovery-focused environment where OT is central to helping people rebuild skills and independence. You will deliver person-centred assessments and interventions across daily living, community and wellbeing domains, in a low-secure forensic setting.

Qualifications

• Currently an Occupational Therapist and HCPC registered.
• Experience with adults with complex needs or cognitive impairment.
• Excellent communication and risk assessment skills.
• Commitment to recovery-focused, person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive OT assessments, formulations and intervention planning.
• Assess occupational performance, functional ability, cognition, motivation, daily living skills, risk and barriers to recovery.
• Deliver evidence-based individual and group interventions to promote independence and meaningful occupation.
• Contribute to care planning, risk assessment, CPA/review meetings and discharge planning.
• Work collaboratively with service users, carers and the MDT to support safe progression through secure pathways.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with HCPC and Trust policies.
• Supervise, delegate to and support junior staff as required.
