Job summary

Oxford Health is seeking an Adult Education Tutor to join the Forensic Mental Health Service at the Littlemore Hospital site in Oxford. The role is part-time (30 hours per week) and involves tutoring, assessment, and planning with service users within a safe, risk-assessed learning environment.

You will develop learning plans, deliver tailored teaching methods, provide progress feedback, and collaborate with the MDT to ensure high-quality, accredited learning aligned to learner goals.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to use IT systems to support learning sessions.
• Strong communication with learners of diverse backgrounds and needs.
• Ability to work autonomously within a team and service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver group and/or individual tutoring to service users in the Forensic Mental Health setting.
• Develop and review Individual Learning Plans with progress monitoring.
• Create and revise learning materials and plans for underpinning training and qualifications.
• Maintain records of assessment using electronic systems and ensure quality assurance.
