Job summary

Oxford Health is seeking a Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist for our Oxford clinic, across inpatient medium secure male wards. The role supports trauma-informed care, MDT collaboration and service development within an innovative forensic service.

The post offers a pathway from Band 7 to 8A, with opportunities for development, research activity, and supervision within an experienced team. Expires 25/09/2026, full-time, on-site in Oxford.

Qualifications

• Evidence of HCPC registration in Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychology.
• Experience in forensic settings is essential.
• Post-graduate training in psychology with trauma-informed care is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly specialist psychological advice and supervision to MDT members.
• Develop and evaluate policies, procedures and service developments.
• Lead research, service evaluation and audits to improve care.
• Deliver complex psychological treatments and group interventions.
• Travel between sites within the Trust as required.
