Job summary

Mountain Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurses and Paramedics to join as Forensic Custody Healthcare Professionals, delivering healthcare to detainees in police custody. Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Paramedic with current HCPC registration.
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than six penalty points.
• Ability to complete enhanced DBS clearance and police vetting.
• Right to work in the UK and a minimum of three years' UK residency.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality healthcare to people detained in police custody.
• Assess fitness for detention, interview, charge and release.
• Manage acute presentations and respond to emergencies.
• Provide safeguarding, mental health and substance misuse support.
• Document clinical and evidential records and provide statements for court.
