Job summary

NHS Grampian is seeking an enthusiastic registered mental health nurse to develop management and clinical skills in a specialist forensic outreach environment. The post involves delivering care to clients in their own homes, using a patient-focused approach within a therapeutic setting and underpinned by risk assessment and management.

The successful candidate must be a car driver, supportive of a positive, therapeutic culture, and able to meet PVG scheme requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered mental health nurse with current registration.
• Ability to work in a forensic outreach setting and provide home-based care.
• Must be a car driver and eligible to drive to client locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, evidence-based care to clients in their own homes.
• Apply a progressive, patient-focused approach within a therapeutic environment.
• Contribute to risk assessment and management to maximise patient potential.
