We have an exciting opportunity for a Forensic Accountant to join our team at Sedgwick.
Sedgwick is seeking a dedicated professional to join our Forensic Advisory team, specialising in the financial impact assessment of events on insured businesses. Our team handles claims of all sizes, including large and complex losses, providing comprehensive services such as Business Interruption (BI) analysis, inventory analysis, loss of income calculation, loss of rent, and other financial analyses. Our accountants are experts in measuring losses that cannot be physically observed and assessing economic damages.
In this role, you will collaborate with senior team members to assess and manage commercial insurance (Business Interruption) claims. You will also quantify economic loss related to Consequential Loss, Litigation, Liability, Stock, and Employee Fraud claims. On-the-job training will be provided to develop economic loss models, document request lists, and prepare reports for insurers. You will maintain regular contact with insured businesses and brokers, leveraging strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key responsibilities include conducting financial assessments, investigating claims of varying complexity, developing and delivering economic loss models and reports, and communicating effectively with clients and brokers.
