Job summary

Tagged Resources Ltd is seeking a Footwear Designer to create innovative, commercial footwear ranges for major retailers. You will design collections across seasonal ranges and translate customer briefs into technical packs, CAD artwork and compelling design concepts.

The role requires a fashion-related degree, 1–2 years of footwear design experience and strong Photoshop/Illustrator skills. A fast-paced, commercial environment awaits with opportunities to collaborate across the design team.

Qualifications

1-2 years' minimum experience in a similar footwear design position.
Experience within licensed and/or character design would be highly advantageous.
A fashion-related degree is essential.
Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, with the ability to create and present professional design concepts.

Responsibilities

Design footwear collections across seasonal ranges, ensuring designs are on-trend and commercially relevant.
Support development of new and existing product ranges in line with customer requirements.
Interpret customer briefs and create technical packs, trend boards and design presentations.
Produce high-quality CAD designs and artwork.
Work closely with wider design team to develop cohesive and commercially successful ranges.
Attend design and customer meetings where required.
Manage products through development and sampling process.
Liaise with overseas factories to ensure designs are developed accurately and to the required standard.
Monitor product development against agreed critical paths and deadlines.
Keep up to date with footwear, fashion and consumer trends to ensure collections remain fresh and relevant.
