Job summary

TAGGED RESOURCES is seeking a Footwear Designer in Leicester to create innovative and commercial footwear ranges for major retailers. You will design across seasonal lines, produce CAD art, and develop collections in collaboration with the team.

The role requires a fashion-related degree and 1–2 years of experience, with a preference for those with licensed or character design exposure. You will work in a fast-paced commercial environment, coordinating with overseas factories to ensure designs

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of footwear design experience is required.
• Licensed and/or character design experience is highly advantageous.
• A fashion-related degree is essential.
• Strong knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Good understanding of current fashion and footwear trends.
• Creative approach with a strong commercial eye.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Excellent organisational and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Design footwear collections across seasonal ranges that are on-trend and commercially relevant.
• Support development of new and existing product ranges per customer requirements.
• Create technical packs, trend boards and design presentations.
• Produce high-quality CAD designs and artwork.
• Collaborate with the design team to develop cohesive ranges.
• Attend design and customer meetings as required.
• Manage products through development and sampling processes.
• Liaise with overseas factories to ensure designs meet standards and timelines.
• Monitor development against critical paths and deadlines.
• Keep up-to-date with footwear, fashion and consumer trends.
