Job Description:

Football Club is hiring a Procurement Strategic Sourcing Specialist (Indirect) – a role within a Global Sports Brand based in London, offering a salary of £40,000-£50,000 + package.

This prestigious household Sports brand is experiencing rapid global expansion and is investing heavily in their Strategic Sourcing function. As a result, a new position has been created for an ambitious Strategic Sourcing expert to join their team and help develop the maturity of the Procurement function.

As a Strategic Sourcing Specialist, you will receive one-to-one training and development from senior sponsors, providing a great opportunity for career growth and to establish a legacy within largely untapped Indirect spend categories.

Key responsibilities include:

• Being a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in contract drafting, negotiating with major global suppliers, and liaising with senior stakeholders and legal specialists.
• Driving compliance and best practices throughout the Strategic Sourcing process.
• Creating RFIs & RFPs to support major procurement projects, handling complex tenders from start to finish.
• Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement and engaging in a tailored development program.

Requirements include:

• Experience in Strategic Sourcing within Indirect categories (e.g., Marketing, HR, Professional Services, FM).
• A degree from a leading institution.
• Started CIPS qualification or fully MCIPS qualified.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, sourcing, and supplier contracts, with significant experience in contract drafting and negotiation.
• The ability to operate credibly and authoritatively with senior stakeholders and legal experts in a commercially savvy environment.
