Job summary

Heart of Worcestershire College on Worcester campus is recruiting an Hourly Paid Assistant Football Coach to support the Football Academy. The role offers term-time hours, 6 hours per week across 30 weeks, with pay up to £15.48 per hour including holiday pay.

You will assist the Head Football Coach, independently plan and lead coaching and fitness sessions, support matchday activities, and keep a safe, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Motivated, passionate and ambitious individual.
• Willing to travel to other HoW campuses as required.
• Willing to complete DBS check and safeguarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Football Coach in delivering the Football Academy programme (training and matches).
• Independently plan and lead football coaching and fitness sessions for students.
• Assist with matchday activities and deputise for the Head Coach when required.
• Maintain a safe, effective and inclusive training environment for all sessions and equipment.
