St James in London is seeking a Foot Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join a leading global facilities management provider on a flagship account in the West End. You will travel on foot between landmark buildings, carrying out PPM, reactive maintenance and general building services across high‑profile sites.

The role covers HVAC, heating, water systems and electrical distribution with a Monday–Friday 08:00–17:00 schedule.

Formación

• Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Multi-skilled building services maintenance experience, ideally on commercial sites.
• 18th Edition or F‑Gas qualifications (desirable).
• Professional, customer‑focused approach for high‑profile client buildings.

Responsabilidades

• Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of buildings in the West End.
• Maintaining and fault‑finding on HVAC plant including AHUs, FCUs, VRF and split systems.
• Looking after heating and water systems including boilers, pumps and DHW.
• Maintaining LV distribution, lighting, emergency lighting and small power.
• Carrying out water hygiene tasks, BMS monitoring and minor fabric repairs.
• Recording work on a mobile job management system and building relationships with managers and tenants.
• Foot mobile role with all buildings within walking distance.

We're recruiting a Foot Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join a leading global facilities management provider on a flagship account for one of the UK's most prestigious property estates. You'll look after a portfolio of landmark buildings in the heart of London's West End. The buildings are all within walking distance of each other, so you'll move between sites on foot, with no driving and no long journeys between jobs. The portfolio includes high-end office, retail and mixed‑use properties, and the work covers planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs and general building maintenance. It's ideal for a multi‑skilled engineer who enjoys variety and wants to work on high‑profile buildings in one of the best‑known locations in the country.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of buildings in the West End
• Maintaining and fault‑finding on HVAC plant, including AHUs, FCUs, VRF and split air conditioning systems
• Looking after heating and water systems, including boilers, pumps, pressurisation units and domestic hot and cold water
• Maintaining LV distribution, lighting, emergency lighting and small power
• Carrying out water hygiene tasks, BMS monitoring and minor fabric repairs
• Recording work on a mobile job management system and building strong relationships with building managers and tenants
• Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• Multi‑skilled building services maintenance experience, ideally on commercial sites
• 18th Edition or F‑Gas qualifications (desirable)
• Professional, customer‑focused approach suited to high‑profile client buildings
• £46,000 to £48,000 basic salary
• Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00
