Job summary

Skilled Careers is recruiting an experienced Foot Mobile Multi-Skilled Building Services Engineer to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across a portfolio of commercial properties in London. The role is face-to-face, requires travelling between sites by public transport and on foot, and demands strong fault-finding in mechanical and electrical building services along with high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Relevant Level 3 mechanical qualification is required.
• Relevant Level 3 electrical qualification is required.
• Current 18th Edition qualification where required for electrical duties.
• Strong practical experience across mechanical and electrical building services.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Diagnose faults across mechanical and electrical building services.
• Maintain pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs, heating and hot-water systems.
• Work on LTHW, chilled-water systems, ventilation and controls.
• Complete plumbing, lighting, small power and general building services maintenance.
• Undertake minor remedial works and first-line fault finding.
• Update and close work orders using CAFM systems.
• Record labour, materials, asset condition and follow-on works.
• Liaise with clients, helpdesk teams and specialist contractors.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, compliance and customer service.
