Job summary

Sure Call Recruitment & AFE Recruitment is seeking a Foodservice Field Sales Representative to cover a multi-site territory including Waltham Cross, Nottingham and Glasgow. The role is field-based, full-time and permanent after a probation period.

You will identify and win new customers while developing existing accounts, delivering growth and representing a leading continental foods supplier in the foodservice sector.

Qualifications

• Experience in field sales, business development or territory sales.
• Proven track record of winning new business and opening customer accounts.
• Confident prospecting and lead-generation skills, including cold calling and face-to-face approaches.
• Experience building and managing your own sales pipeline and territory.
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage owners, managers, buyers and key decision-makers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and closing skills.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to work towards sales, revenue and margin targets.
• A proactive, self-motivated and target-driven approach.
• Ability to work independently and plan customer visits effectively.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points or major endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of a designated sales territory, identifying and winning new customers.
• Develop existing accounts and increase spend within the territory.
• Meet decision-makers, open doors and convert opportunities into long-term customers.
• Work in a field-based, multi-site role with a focus on new business.
