Job summary

Surecall Recruitment is recruiting a Foodservice Field Sales Representative to drive growth across Waltham Cross, Nottingham and Glasgow. This field-based, full-time role offers a £36,000 annual salary plus a company vehicle and uncapped commission after probation.

You will own a defined territory, pursue new business, develop existing accounts and build strong relationships with decision-makers in foodservice, catering and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within field sales, business development or territory sales.
• Strong track record of winning new business and opening new customer accounts.
• Prospecting and lead-generation skills, including cold calling and face-to-face approaches.
• Experience building and managing your own sales pipeline and territory.
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage owners, managers, buyers and key decision-makers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and closing skills.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to work towards sales, revenue and margin targets.
• A proactive, self-motivated and target-driven approach.
• Ability to work independently and plan customer visits effectively.
• Comfortable spending most of your working week out in the field.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points or major endorsements

Responsibilities

• Sell and promote products from distribution centres located in Waltham Cross, Nottingham and Glasgow.
• Take ownership of a designated sales territory, identifying and winning new customers while developing existing accounts and increasing spend.
• This is a genuine new-business-focused field sales role; meet decision-makers and convert opportunities into long-term customers.
• Work across the field with a proactive approach to develop the customer base and drive revenue across the territory.
