Citizens Advice Tendring is seeking a qualified adviser to join our team as a Foodbank Adviser, working with The Trussell Trust and CPAG. You will support people accessing food banks to maximise welfare entitlements and improve their financial situation.

The role emphasises income maximisation, debt advice, client wellbeing, and safeguarding confidentiality while delivering compassionate, non-judgemental guidance to those in vulnerable circumstances.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Generalist Advice required.

What We Are Looking For

• Citizens Advice Certificate in Generalist Advice (Skillbook records and supporting evidence will be requested)
• A qualified adviser with face to face experience

• A non-judgemental, respectful, and inclusive approach
• Ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with people in vulnerable circumstances
