Job summary

Academics Ltd in West London is seeking a motivated Food Technology Teacher to inspire learners across KS3 to KS5. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT, you will deliver practical lessons, nurture nutritional understanding and promote safe cooking techniques in a range of secondary schools.

You will need QTS/QTLS or an equivalent qualification, with KS3/KS4 experience (KS5 a plus), strong classroom management and a commitment to raising attainment.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS, QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is highly advantageous).
• Strong subject knowledge in food preparation, nutrition, health and safety, and practical cooking techniques.
• Are passionate about delivering engaging and inclusive Food Technology lessons.
• Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• ECTs and experienced Food Technology Teachers are both encouraged to apply.
