Position: Full-time, Temporary (Maternity Cover)

Supply Star Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Food Technology Teacher to join a secondary school in Evesham, covering a period of maternity leave.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys inspiring young people and delivering engaging, practical lessons in Food Technology across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role

• Teaching Food Technology to students across KS3 and KS4.
• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons.
• Preparing students for practical assessments and examinations where appropriate.
• Managing practical classroom activities and ensuring food hygiene and health & safety procedures are followed.
• Monitoring student progress and maintaining a positive, supportive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4.
• Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering practical lessons.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A positive, flexible approach and the ability to engage and motivate students.
