Job summary

Grade A Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Food Technology Cover Supervisor to support a secondary school in the Bury St Edmunds area. You will supervise Food Tech lessons and both practical and theory activities.

You should have confidence managing classes, experience with secondary students, and a reliable, professional approach. This 3-term, 4-day-per-week role offers flexible hours and opportunities to work with several local schools.

Qualifications

• Experience in Food Technology/DT or related practical subject.
• Previous experience with secondary-aged students.
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Reliable, professional and engaging approach.

Grade A Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced Food Technology Cover Supervisor to support a secondary school in the Bury St Edmunds area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in Food Technology, Design & Technology or practical classroom-based subjects who is confident supervising secondary students.

The Role

• Provide cover for Food Technology lessons
• Supervise practical and theory-based activities
• Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
• Support students with their learning and ensure planned work is completed
• Work closely with teaching and support staff
• 4 days a week – 3 term contract

We Are Looking For

• Experience within Food Technology / DT or a related practical subject
• Previous experience working with secondary-aged students
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• Reliable, professional and engaging approach
• Teaching, instructor or cover supervision experience is desirable
