Job summary

Bridge House School is recruiting an outstanding Food Technology Teacher to support pupils who may have autism, emotional and behavioural difficulties, ADHD, and other complex needs. The role emphasizes resilience, empathy and bespoke lesson planning within a supportive team.

The Successful Candidate Will Be a Qualified Teacher And Ideally Have Experience Of Teaching And Supporting Young People Within SEN, Along With The Following Characteristics

• Communication Communicating with our young people is vital to understand their needs. Good teamwork and communication plays a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.
• Organisation You will have experience of organising, planning and teaching well-structured lessons tailored to the needs of the pupils as well as monitoring each students learning needs, adapting teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of each pupil.

• Attentive No two tasks will be the same so being attentive to understand the needs of the young people we support is vital
